Torie Zalben, alias “Rainbow” on the VECTOR axis, is going to wrap Vector Gallery in holographic paper for an intergalactic video installation. Cosmic visuals and psychedelic imagery will be on display with the aid of live video mapping, star projections and Jenn Grossman's ambient soundscapes to facilitate celestial contact.
A party and reception will be followed by a midnight screening of David Lynch’s Meditation Creativity Peace, inviting transcendental states of awareness as the Solar Initiation concludes.
Torie Zalben lives and works in New York & Los Angeles. This will be her first solo exhibition with Vector Gallery. She is receiving her Master’s from NYU in Video Art and Media along with working at the David Lynch Foundation. Previous exhibitions include Body Actualized Center, Moksha Family Visionary Arts Collective, ESP Gallery, Gowanus Ballroom,Smashbox Studios, Vortex Immersion, Gallatin Arts Festival (@ NYU) andIII Points.
